When David Nestingen began eyeing retirement as chief executive officer of IEWC in New Berlin, he didn’t keep it a secret. Nestingen, who had been CEO of the cable and wire provider since 1999, informed his board more than three years before his planned 2018 retirement that he was preparing to step down. IEWC didn’t waste the time.
